Creating a memorable and unique christmas card.

BuzzBrothers in a creative agency based in Geneva.
At the end of the year, a need for a unique greeting card came along.
The creative director came with the idea of handing over the best card sets to all the client - I was tasks to bring it to life.
As a designer, this project was a chance to distill the essence of iconic games into a minimal, unified visual language. The result is a custom deck of 5 cards — each one a tribute to a game that shaped culture, play, and design in its own right. Bold colors anchor the system, giving each card its own energy while maintaining a consistent, contemporary aesthetic.
The Ace card holds a special place in the set: it’s based on the Carouge neighborhood — the creative backdrop of the agency — and subtly incorporates their logo into the design, connecting place and identity.
This piece wouldn’t exist without the expertise of Sonderreger, a print studio based in Basel. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail realized the design with precision, especially in producing the unique box cut, made possible by the latest die-cutting technology.
It’s a small object, but one rooted in precision, collaboration, and a deep love for design.
